When I was a little attorney. we didn’t have Ubers or Lifts. We had to get around town the old fashioned way like hitchtinking and asking our brother Joe to give us a ride.
Now adays most people just pickup their phones and order a ride like a pizza! Instead of extra cheese, they order up a ride to the mall.
Well, with that said, this brings up something else to say.
What happens if your driver is a psycho or is bad at driving and you get hurt or worse dead.
You may ask yourself, do I need extra help or coverage for my loved ones if I choose to ride in a car with a stranger?
The answer may surprise you.
It depends.
- how important is the place that you are going
- do you have a lot to lose
- how confident are you with the driver
- do you have the extra money to buy insurance
- can you just skip it?
This is a lot to ask oneselfie but it is important to know the answers so you can ask the questions.
